We do not grow absolutely, chronologically.
We grow somtimes in one dimension,
and not in another; unevenly.
We grow partially. We are relative.
We are mature in one realm,
childish in another.
The past, present and future mingle and pull us backward,
forward or fix us in the present.
We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.
– Anaïs Nin

This is really a construct exercise for me to experiment with posting and maintaining a cyber commerce site that will most likely expand to a personal website for product and artwork sales later on.
We all must start somewhere and why not today and why not here.
I had (3) items cast for 2011 and they will be featured for 2012 as well. A male and female angel ornament and a switch plate.
Attached is the upcoming Lock 3 Holiday Festival with many different vendors including myself.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you – feel free to stop and chat or chatter depending on the weather.

The "Tickle Me Pink" workshop went well and the one thing that was pure delight was Highland Towers party room. I came through a dimly lit hallway into an open spaced room with windows instead of walls and could see 360º around Akron, OH. The clouds looked as if they were actually sitting on an invisible shelf which made them appear flat on the bottom and very fluffy and irregular like clouds do on up to their top. So from the ground up to the cloud bottom was a space of maybe 500 to 600 feet. I'd love having an art studio in the party room.
I will be presenting a workshop along with other artists on Saturday, September 10th, just after lunch at Highland Towers located in Highland Square. This is my first instruction class since teaching art classes at the University of Akron in 1992. Wow – dating myself. If you see this and are available it will be at the very least, interesting.
